There is a museum tour but you have to call in advance to make arrangement. On this trip we did not take the tour.
After your tour to the museum, do walk around the National Stadium (picture right). The National Stadium was opened on 31 July 1973 by then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew with a seating capacity of 50,000. The first major sporting event held at the stadium was for the 7th SEAP Games in September 1973. Many of Singapore's National Day Parade was celebrated here. |
