| Hua Song Museum is a one-stop centre for visitors to learn the stories of Chinese living around the world. 'Hua Song' which means "in praise of the Chinese", brings alive the dreams, sacrifices and achievements of the Chinese migrants who went in search of fortune overseas.
It showcases the dreams, sacrifices, successes and achievements of the Chinese who faced adversity in their search of fortune overseas, enabling overseas Chinese today to embrace their cultural roots and origins.
Friends of other ethnicities and nationalities will receive a glimpse into the struggles of the overseas Chinese who have assimilated and contributed to the modern society, fostering mutual appreciation and understanding. Their stories are of international, cross-cultural relevance and appeal today.

Developed by the Singapore Tourism Board, and run by Singapore Explorer. It took STB Three years and $7.8 million to set up. Hua Song Museum was opened on 15 December 2005.
Hua Song is located at new wing of Haw Par Villa, which is next to historic Haw Par Villa, Singapore. Haw Par Villa is founded by a distinguished overseas Chinese Aw Boon Haw (1882-1954) in 1937 and has attracted countless visitors from overseas.
