Jurong Frog Farm is the only frog breeder in Singapore, mainly American bullfrogs which are highly sought after for their medical value. Also an importer, exporter and retail of fresh edible water livestock such as bullfrogs, eels, turtles, catfish, snakeheads, tilapia and juvenile frogs.

Their specialty is the Essence of Bullfrog with Ginseng and Cordyceps. This essence is extracted with advanced technology and modern instruments to separate and discard all the fat and cholesterol. In addition, their essence of bullfrog does not contain any preservative or artificial flavourings and colourings. You can buy the Essence, drinks, and much more. Visit their website for more information.

Frog-meat lovers prefer frogs to other poultry because it is high in proteins and low in cholesterol and fats. Their frogs are fed with an imported, high-protein frog feed 3 times daily. Fresh running water is used to rear these frogs and hence, their breed of frogs are guaranteed to be the best quality. Singaporeans consume, 2,000 kg of frogs daily, and Jurong Frog Farm supplies 25% of this amount, which goes mostly to restaurants.

Jurong Frog Farm was established on 29 October 1981 by Mr Wan Bock Thiaw, who has 20 years of experience rearing frogs. He started with only 80 fibre tanks in a small kampong area back in Jurong. This farm was only relocated to the present 1.5 acres farmland at 56 Lim Chu Kang Lane 6, back in 1997. Now it has developed into an educational tourist attraction.
